subject: RAS ADMIN

CS->The adapter installation asked me for an IP address. No address, no
  ->installation. I tried entering the IP address of my ISP, and the
  ->corresponding Netmask. The installation program took it and installed
  ->the adapter.  However....
CS->I guess my question is - Can I get at the RAS admin options without
  ->being on a valid network? And, is that normal? Can I make up an IP and
  ->Netmask address for myself to use?
CS->Any suggestions appreciated.  Thanks.
Dial into httd://www.vex.net/~art/WinNT.html and you will have all your
answers... except how to modify your SWITCH.INF file in your RAS
directory. You might need to modify the file to allow correct transfer
of your signon and password.
