If its the same program, when I tested MY modem out with it, if was ok
in the 1st part of its log, but the second part was highly misleading,
it tested for a USR modem, and reported the modem was NOT a faxmodem:-(
just apparently because my supra did not do Class 2.0 faxing, it tried
for Class 1 and reported a failure, but I've used Class 1:-) It tried
for Class 2 and reported a failure, then it tried for Class 3 and of
course reported a failure, this time correctly.. My supra dosnt do Class
3 or Class 2.0.. but it does and has done Class 1 and 2..
If one ignores the 2nd part of the log its ok, but newbies could easily
be misled by part 2...
                 Cheers,
                         Cliff Hetherington
