I don't doubt this.  The version of SIO2K that ships with eCS has known
defects that are corrected in the current shareware release.

What's to understand?  Different hardware.  Different software. Different
results.  You might want to try the eval version of the current shareware
release on th problem systems.  It would be interesting to know if this
version will play nice.
