Two things:

1. It's optional (you won't find it in my messages, e.g.)
2. It's not guaranteed to be a fidonet address, even when you're
in a fidonet network.  It could be an internet address, or an
othernet address, or a fakenet address, or a Compuserve address,
etc etc.
