Sure it isn't. (do you ever use your POTS modem?)

Of course you (me too) have more profitable and reliable way to accept
net/echo-mail.
99.9 % of all traffic here goes by binkP ;-)

And you may switch OFF your modem and keep the (only 1) line open for voice
telephone communication.
So what's the deal? ;-)
