i think your mistaken ... that is called ' multi-level marketing ' 
which is totaly legal. why not ask rod to send you some info on it in 
the mail ? all will be explained then ...

you need stop being so scared .. listern if people want to (as you say 
"waste " there money then let them ... i thinhk MOST people should be 
smart enough to decide for themselfs what is wright and wrong... and if 
not contact telecom/austel, the treade practices commision, and anyone
else who may be able to help and ask them .... whats it to you anyway? 
 
this is NOT illegal so why not get on with your life ? dont you have 
better things to do ?
