Yeah, well lightning was responsible for the disappearance of the
Spirit II.  Not even I can be held responsible for Thor's actions.
Since then I have been trying to find a substitute modem.  I
haven't found one yet.

I did look at it.  It was actually the one I wanted to buy, but
the sysop price was high at the time, and I was being warned off
it, and I had an ISP telling me that he had trialled all the
modems, and the M34F was the best.  You sure weren't telling me
how good the Banksia was at the time, so I played the odds.  And
lost.  Well, maybe lost, anyway.  We don't know how the Banksia
performs under proper testing.  We know it has trouble talking
to Viper's in adaptive answer though.  BFN.  Paul.
