Theoretically yes but this is where I'm saying there is a chance that it
doesn't end up with the exact same service pack. It is unlikely it is
checking every bit in 100mb of files. If you have a corrupt file (and I've
seen this happen) going to windows update may not find/fix it but
reinstalling the last full service pack many times will because it just
overwrites all the files with known good copies.
