subject: NNTP gathering

Folks, I am an avid user of newsgroups. They are collected on all my devices
but the settings aren't synchronized.

On a separate note, I had been using a variety of irc tools to chat online and
accidently discovered quassel core. After work that day I installed it on my
bastion host and, within a few hours, had a variety of irc servers connected,
channels subscribed, and now all my devices connect to it. I removed a variety
of logins so that my other clients wouldn't get booted. If I add an IRC channel
on a server, it's connected continuously on my server and that way I don't miss
conversations or an answer to a question I've posed. And, also, I don't have to
add/remove channels on all my other devices.

I'm looking for a similar setup for NNTP, whereby a server fetches the
newsgroups and I can have a remote client fetch it. That way I'm not having to
manually add/remove newsgroups on all my devices.

Is there something you're aware of that has these features? It has to fun on
linux, because that's all I use.

Thanks

Daniel Traechin
