The latest news I've heard is that the cancer had spread to his brain and
that he had undergone brain surgery to remove it.  A few days later he
participated in a bike race in Texas with his hero, Eddie Mercx.  I took them
an hour and a half to do 25 miles, but they had a ball talking the whole way.
The last I heard he was responding very well to chemotherapy.
