subject: Adcom amp problem

SH>
SH>I recently purchased a used Adcom GFA-535 amp and GTP-400 preamp.
SH>Everything works fine except that the amp emits a very noticeable click
SH>sound mostly from the right channel during use. This is very similar t
SH>single click the amp emits when it is turned off, but the clicking duri
SH>is produced when certain electrical devices (doorbell, some light switc
SH>fans, etc.) are switched on or off.
Has it always done this? The last amp that I had that did that got worse
over a few months and finally went dead in one channel.
I got guess I got lucky as burglars carried the bad amp off with all my other
stuff. I had great insurance.
