Doesn't matter. If you have an Adaptec 2940UW in a PCI slot, it well
could be the install simply will hang after a while.
They (the "support team") let the customer (not me) messing around 2
weeks before reluctantly admitting it. They blame the aic7870.add
driver, and told to disable USB (yes, it's that what they told), but
that didn't help at all at 3 different mobo I was asked to check.
I had to take out the adaptec card in order to have a proper install.
Not much of a use of course if you have to install to a scsi HD.
