Never hit the brake as that's WC> the wrong thing to do in that situation. :) The wheels probably were doing a sufficient rotart speed for the car to move at 55 the speedometer is typpically connected to the output shaft of the gearbox, as such it indicates the speed that the driveing wheels are rotating at. as soon as the drive wheels loose traction the speedo reading no longer represents landspeed. You can get the same effect (but less wear on the rubber) by lifting the drive wheels off the ground and with the motor running putting the transmission in gear :) -=> Bye <=- ---* Origin: Money is the root of all wealth.
