"Dry gas" type additives,  gas line antifreeze compounds,  etc.
seem to contain mostly methanol.  At one point I was putting that stuff in
my car pretty regularly.  I was also patronizing a station that added it
(to the tune of 10%) to their mid-grade and hi-test gas.

If this thing is gonna sit for prolonged periods of time,  you might want
to consider both keeping the tank _full_ (to minimize condensation) and
also adding some gas stablizer -- the things that happen to gas that sits
for long periods are not good for carbs and other fuel system parts.
