That's a planned feature, but nobody else has asked for it that I can recall,
so I haven't gotten to it.  Should be easy enough to do poorly for starters.

Depends on how the sysop has things set up.  If a given message area is
accessible to guests / anonymous users, then no account is required (for
reading anyway).  Maybe there's some conversion to registered users when people
want to post.

There are quite a few out there using that web interface now, though I'm not
sure how many.  It's my own creation, but it's available to any Synchronet
sysop running a fairly recent version of the software.
