Tony,
It's not that simple.  Some of the programs in the startup group require 
certain services to be running first.  Since one of the services is a 
Sybase server, it can take 2-3 minutes to bring all of the databases 
online.  I am going to try adding the programs requiring a particular 
service to a batch file which has a 2-3 minute sleep in front of 
starting the programs to see if that solves it.  If not, another 
suggestion I've gotten is to start the programs as services using the 
SRVANY program from the resource kit.
