Pointing doesn't uses IEMSI *Logons*. It sends the crap to the front end
mailer (like FrontDoor) including the user and the password, and the
mailer spits out the mail. He wanted a script that "that would poll a boss
and handle the usual point/boss tasks." One would need to use the EMSI
thing to do what he just said. You responded why not just use the learn
script. You didn't say *CRAP* about logging on. After you responded to
my reply, you mentioned the manually logging on thing. And I mentioned
the fact that you need to do EMSI (or YooHoo2 which I don't know the
slightest about :) to get your mail on most systems if you are a point.
Then you talk about the IEMSI logons like us points always use that to
get our mail. That is what you use if you logon to a system running RA
or Renegade while using Terminate (as an example) The IEMSI thing the
points use (or EMSI - whatever) does the sending the crap to the front
end mailer stuff. *THAT* is what I was talking about. *THAT* is what
he wanted to do. If he could just logon to the bbs there and get his
mail, then would have made the damn script by now considering he already
can make a script for QWK.
