Hi Anne and Anis,

It is NOT necessary to use C/C++ to program under OS/2. You can use
the mainframe languages like COBOL, PL/I and FORTRAN without any
problems (other than those you code yourself).

The API is actually prepared for the lowest common denominator of
language power, Pascal. It is not written exclusively for C/C++. I have
no problems calling API routines from PL/I.
