Hello all!

   With the recent releases of WARP I, WARP II, and other betas of/for
OS/2, the number of messages about these topics have increased
dramatically.  For this reason, I am setting up a new echo area that
(someday) may become a backbone Fidonet echo.

   I am, of course, setting myself up as moderator and the topics of
discussion will be:

   -All aspects pertaining to Betas of OS/2 and related products released
    by IBM including the recent IBM Internet Connection for OS/2 Beta.  This
    includes (but is not limited to) the following topics:

      -Pricing and availability involving current betas
      -Bug reports on current betas
      -Performance aspects of current betas
      -Problems with current betas
      -Installation of current beta
      -hardware conflicts/considerations with current beta
      -Device driver support, problems for current beta

   -Suggestions for future versions of OS/2 (wish list)

The Rules are as follows:

1) Stay on topic
2) No flaming, take personal gruges to netmail
3) See rules 1) and 2)

This echo area will be similar in concept to the Usenet area
comp.os.os2.beta and will, obviously, have high usage for some periods of
time and low usage at other times.

If you are interested in picking up this area, either join my board (all
users get 45min, 750k/day) or ask your sysop to contact me for a feed.
