  Yes, redesign your application.

  Those are the 16-bit semaphore and I/O calls.  Semaphores changed with
  OS/2 2.0, and asynchronous I/O was dropped (everyone was using
  threads anyway).

  Use _beginthread for the DosWriteAsync, and use (at a guess) event
  semaphores for the other stuff.

  I thought that Bink had been brought kicking and screaming into the
  32-bit world already ....
