Yes.

In the worst case nothing will work any more and they will leave FidoNet in dispair.

If the nodelist format is changed so that it is no longer compatible with
my software, I will have to change my software or leave. Changes that you
may consider harmless will readily do that. Such as listing nodes as
-Unpublished- without a Pvt keyword.
