    In that case, you can use Spinrite, from Gibson Research
(www.grc.com). You'll have to use it AFTER recovering the information and
BEFORE putting the disk back to use,  because it only "sees" FAT/FAT32
partitions. Aside from this limitation it does a very deep surface
analysis/recovery.
