subject: Colorizing a graphic

The WordPerfect for DOS magazine Disk of the Month
for February 1997 contains a graphic NOSIGN.WPM that
brings up a question I have long had. This graphic is
the international NOT symbol: a circle with a diagonal
line thru it. However, it is black and as I have seen
the symbol, it is red.
It's no big deal, but as a general question I ask:
is there any way to change the lines or black portions
of a black and white graphic to a color? I've tried
FONT, FILL both foreground and background, all in vain.
