You forgot one thing John, he probably picked it up by sharing floppies.
I can only speak for my system but he did not probably get it from a BBS and
most internet sites are squeaky clean, at least the ones I ftp from.  Once
again more like sharing floppies.    I do agree that there is no virus on
his Motherboard.
