Which of these moves are NOT being considered by Pat Gillick?
1) Letting Bobby Bonilla go, to be replaced by the light-hitting, low
on-base-percentage Hamilton.
2) Moving Cal Ripken to third, to be replaced at short by a weak-hitter like
Mike Bordick, thereby weakening two spots.
3) Trading Mike Mussina, to be replaced by Jimmy Haynes or a prospect
received in the trade.
4) Trading Chris Hoiles, whose only problem is pitchers who can't hold
runners, to be replaced by a weak-hitting catcher who also won't be able to
throw out runners because the pitchers still won't hold them on.
5) Trading Rafael Palmeiro, because he isn't fast enough to be a base
stealer.
6) Letting David Wells go, in favor of signing Terry Mulholland or Bob
Tewksbury.
