Nope, I said that about the only programs that won't work on the CMD
drives are those that are "heavily" copy protected, or rely on disk
errors for their protection.

The emulation partitions allow software to be used where such software
expects to find specific data on specific track/sectors. These would
normally not work because of the different format.
