Nice to hear that. I think they're the successors of 70's Pink Floyd, and it
means a LOT when I compare something to Pink Floyd.
JR> _Misplaced Childhood_ Is most definatly my favorate. I've found that

Interruptions? Just to think of it is blasphemous! On _Brave_ they give the
correct method (and I quote): "Play it loud it the dark".
JR> On _Script for a Jester's Tear_, the title track is my favorate all
JR> time favorate Marillion tune.
I think He Knows You Know is their best. Grendel is second.
SV>> Marillion: _Fugazi_. Nice music, but not as good as _Script_. The

SV>> Both these albums are far better than the new marillion I've bought

JR> It is unfortunate. I have a few of the Hogarth era albums and can not

Definately better than grunge. But so vague and empty... I mean, H. has got a
really special voice, but it's not strong enough.
SV>> Is _Clutching at Straws_ (1987) the sequel to these?
JR> _Clutching at Straws_ has it's moments. The album starts off
JR> fantastic with Hotel Hobbies, Warm Wet Circles, and That Time of the
JR> Night but then falls apart until the very end. IMOHO, the songs in
JR> the middle sound like they were just stuck in there to make the album
JR> long enough to sell. They are not bad songs but sound like they
JR> should have just been singles or another album should have been
JR> developed that would build on a theme with them.
How unfortunate. But I can live with that. After all, everybody needs a
little practice, a warming-up so to say. Even Prog Rock bands.
JR> I have Fish's _Internal Exile_ album as well but have not been able to
JR> get into that one much either.
It does have good numbers, like _Credo_, but they also are singles. OK, Fish
sings greatm but I really miss Rothery's guitar on this. Not to mention the
drums by Pointer and Mosley. I still don't know how they changed. Can you
tell me?
