I'm trying to find out if the DSP in the 28.8 ZyXEL modems are programmable. 
IOW, will it be capable of the new 33.6K speeds of the newly proposed V.34 
via a software change, or will it require a hardware change. If you have a 
hardware list of the major components, that would also be helpful.
