There isn't anything that activates the codes in DN3D.  Older versions of the 
shareware game (before v1.3d) don't support some of the newer codes and ones 
that also act as command keys like "n" and "a" have to be typed carefully 
with the code or else it'll do things like activate night goggles or jump...
