Mobile Interfacing is a major step for Wildcat! Its going to be a
moving post. But one thing for sure, is how it will work as a
standard Wildcat! Interface when it comes to:

    - Menu Display of your wcMENU items
    - WCN (Wildcat! Navigator) Clients

Today, we have the following:

For MODEM/TELNET MODE, we have the wcMENU system which allows you to
use two column display of items and/or display of ANSI displays to
override the text menu. (TIP: If you remove (hide/move) the
MENU\*.BBS files, you will see the two column display of your menu items.)

For FTP, there is no navigation other than the File Groups/Areas layout.

For WEB mode, the stock Wildcat! navigation is the WCN clients.
WcNavigator is modeled on this layout of using the clients listed
under the "CLIENTS\" sub-folder. For example:

  Directory of C:\wcat\clients

06/25/2017 08:38 PM .
06/25/2017 08:38 PM ..
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Chat Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM File Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Instant Message Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Message Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Personal Properties Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Sysop Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM System
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Terminal Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Transfer Client
06/25/2017 08:38 PM Who's Online Client

Thats for WcNavigator and also for setting the access securities.

For WcWEB, the urls are:

    /client?personal.wcn Personal (Your Settings)
    /client?message.wcn Messaging
    /client?file.wcn Filing
    /client?who.wcn who's online
    /client?chat.wcn chat
    /client?terminal.wcn terminal
    /client?sysop.wcn Sysop menu

WcWEB has a default page header where these are set in:

    http\template\pageheadermenu.inc

Despite its age, it is pretty advanced stuff with lots of "automation"
then and now.

That is where "Wildcat! Mobile" comes into play.

I had started this back in the early 2000s way before we had a clue
what the mobile world would look like. The early days, the interface
proposal was called WAP, it was XML, RSS like system to display stuff.
It was still a moving target and we had yet to be ready for mobile
bandwidth. It didn't work well and there was no standard for PHONES
yet too. Today, its pretty much Apple or Android. Microsoft seem to
punked out.

But to show you want I am talking about and still thinking of doing
for MOBILE today, is what I had done back in the early 2000s:

     http://www.winserver.com/phonemenu.wct

From a PC, Login and click the above to see how I taking the wcMENU
items and creating a text display with old school mobile dimensions.

This is applicable today, but not in TEXT mode but using HTML5
Javacript and the new MOBILE dimensions available.

Thats where I am going with all these, what STOCK interface do we want
for the basic Wildcat! Clients and Wildcat Menu Navigation?

If you know of a particular mobile interface you like and/or think
fits for what I want to do, please show me a URL link for an example.
Please keep in mind, I am not talking of the Page Layouts. Its all
related, but how do you put the MENUS and CLIENTS in the headers, for
example. Whats a good interface, one can start with?
