I guess if I install it enough times, I'll figure it
out. I first installed it on my laptop. IBM T21. It
has win98 on it, I made a smaller partition for win98,
put ECS after, no BM. In order to switch to windows, I
need to use a bootable CD to change the startable
partition as LVM won't show the win98 partition. SIO
drivers would not work with the modem. Switched to the
COM.SYS driver and it worked fine.

Now I tried the desktop. AMD400K62 on a SOYO MB. First
partition, win98, second OS/2, third FAT16, fourth
FAT32, fifth, HPFS, Linux after that, LILO BM. ECS
installed, LILO no longer functions. Back to the
bootable CD to change. I'm sure I can fix that with
Linux later. SIO drivers recognize my Actiontec modem
and set it to UART 3. Will not work down to 9600.
Changed to COM.SYS (3,E400,9). Injoy reports dialup at
41333, would not move data any faster than 560 bps.
Frustrated, I copied over my com.sys from W4fp15. Full
speed ahead! Wonder why the new com.sys works Ok on
the laptop, not on the desktop?

Not bad, miss my warpcenter. Got Mozilla 1.4 to run on
 the laptop by adding .\; to the beginning of PATH and
LIBPATH strings, haven't found the secret yet on the
desktop to get mozilla 1.5 running. More than once
I've been tempted to go back to W4. Stayed with
compatability volumes in case. Found out I had to
install networking with the ECS install, couldn't do
it later like warp 3 and 4. Probably not an issue with
CP1/2 either.
