subject: NT`s FTP without prompting?

GG> I need to use the console FTP app for automated
GG> gathering of some files, probably from a batch file.
GG> However, when you issue a "mget *.*", it wants you to
GG> confirm (with a "y" keypress) each file. Not good.
GG> Anyone know how to have the ftp.exe just do it without asking/prompting?
GG> If not, I'll need a -freeware- application that can do it.
ftp -i hostname (-i param turns of interactive prompting)
or
ftp -s:scriptname (turns off prompting automatically on script ops)
take a look at the ftp stuff in the help facility. NT has one of the more
complete ones that I've seen. Oops, meant in the 'online books' facility.
