BL> Where does it say anything about optional?
PE> "which bit of 'not required' do you not understand" is what
PE> they say.
BL> What part of "is added" do they not understand?
Good one, Bob! I'll use that next time they try that one. But
it still leaves us where we were in the first place, they have
a stupid quote, we have a stupid quote, and we both have
ambiguous shit.

Poor old Bob.
PE> Poor old, Bob. At least have the courtesy to apologize after
PE> you find that the code doesn't do anything as ridiculous as
PE> that.
BL> The only place your SOT/EOT can possibly work is in the
BL> original message, when the AUTHOR knows where his message ends.
PE> That is correct.
BL> Apology, for what?
For saying that my code looked for a tearline, to add EOT. When
you hadn't even bothered reading my code, and it was wrong.
PE> No, it doesn't fuck up because of that. Rod is welcome to send
PE> me two origin lines with PQWK260. I don't care. I do care when
PE> he was using <260 though, because of a bug in PQWK.
BL> I see. You define a bug as anything that fucks SOT/EOT. You wrote
No, something that fucks the fixed header portion of a *.PKT
message.
BL> PQWK to add SOT/EOT and eliminate problems with kludge lines in the
BL> text, but it didn't. Now it does. Or does it?
Try to keep up, Bob. We resolved that ages ago. It had diddly
squat to do with SOT/EOT, it had to do with PQWK scanning the
message body to get an address, instead of using the address it
was given on the command line. Frank discovered the bug, and I
fixed it, and verified it by getting him to send me a message with
an origin line, and then I informed the rest of you, and that was
the end of my involvement for months. BFN. Paul.
