subject: gas additive

Years ago the auto parts houses had some kind of liquid that when
poured into the gas tank helped with this problem. This was for
automobile use - I have no idea how well it would or would not work in
your situation.

ML>is there something that can be added to gas to remove or convert water to
ML>something that won't drown out an engine? i seem to recall something somewhere
ML>that would affect any water and chemically combine with it to make something
ML>that would either burn with the gas or at least flow out without drowning the
ML>engine...

ML>the problem is a 5gal black plastic tank on a generator that appears to
ML>condensate quite a bit and i'm about tired of having to drain the tank and
ML>disassemble some of the gas flow stuff to flush out all the water just to get
ML>the damned thing running...

ML>help!
