-> CH> I can see some paper trail on larger items, like cars and

-> CH> perhaps you're right .
->
-> Yup. The "application" to small parts is not governed by the fear of
-> at the door with badge and baton, but by the curious tendency of some
-> [and customers] to operate ethically. Of course the pragmatic,
-> outnumber the ethical but many of us old guys still feel Mum or
-> Auntie back of us, peeping over the shoulder and ready to give a
-> WHACK!!!!!! if we behave bad. ^^^^^^^^^
For something to nag at the conscience, one must perceive it as a
bad thing in the first place. Just the mere pronouncement of
"evildom" by some bureaucratic hack doesn't carry a lot of weight.
Particularly when the pronouncement is made with the idea of
making money for some group that already has far too much of the
stuff already. There's a big difference with the obscene amounts
of money these conglomerates make, versus the pocket change us
"little guys" might turn by reselling a few parts.
And at age 50, I'm not too far off the "old guys" list...
