Hello,
I want to know if someone could help me with the following:
Im have tried to found out how the Queen of scots, Mary Stuart, is related
to the Queen of GB today. As I can see Mary was married 3 times and had only
one son and that was James I (in marriage with Henry ). James I, married
Anna from Danemark and get one daughter, Elisabeth, married to Fredrick of
Bohemia and they got a daughter, Sophia, who was married to George I. From
here I have it clear, but is the test above right?
From another source, I have the following:
Robert III Stuart was father to Mary Stuart (sister of James I). This Mary
was married to Sir William Edmonstone of Duntreath. Mary and William get a
son, Achibald Edmonstone. He got a son, William Edmonstone. This William also
get a son and the name, Wiilliam. This William and Lady Agnes Stewart was
married and they got a daughter, Regina Edmonstone. Regina and a man with
the name George Petre was married and got a son, George (1610-?). This
George got a son, Alexander Petre (?-1673) and he was living in Sweden,
Stockholm.
Now is the question:
This two versions, are they both right?
Is someone knowing anything about the with Edmonstone and Petre?
Please send any details to me.
