I have already run a couple of prelimary tests and it performs beautifully.
 In fact, it is the basis for the very fast extraction of even the Zone 2
segment from the nodelist: about 6.000 (6,000 U.S. format) lines in 1 or 2
seconds (on this 500Mhz PC).  Oh, by the way, the author says there is no
limit to the file size.

Uh oh, that sort of thing (using GAWK -or- my brain) is way too hard for me.  :)
