First write down the exact words you want to change, upper case, lower case, etc.  

Then go to , , type in REGEDIT, hit . 
When it opens, click on the EDIT button at the top, use CTRL+F to find
[search], then type in the exact word or phrase you want to replace. 
Follow the screens from there.  Change ONLY what you want and understand,
don't mess with the other oddball looking stuff!  Be sure to hit F3 until
you are sure there are no more 'duplicates' of what you want to change.

I'm pretty sure MS Word uses the registry also, so it would be wise to
write down the words or phrases for Word also so you can search for those
at the same time without having to go back into it again.

The registry files are Hidden System files, named System.dat, and User.dat
both directly under Windows.  As always, it is a good idea to make a copy
of those BEFORE editing in case something goes wrong.
