There are many kinds of "alcohols". The one mentioned as gasline anti-freeze was methyl. If you use isopropyl aka rubbing alcohol you will be in for a nasty surprise with clogged parts! However, I remember in the movie "Pink Submarine" (with Kelsey Grammar as Cpt.) during an emergency the chief engineer poured some fine whisky (ethyl) into the diesel to thin it out some. Did anyone mention gasahol? Mike **** ...
