Yup, a K&R-type text would be nice.  I haven't done any searching yet,
other than casually scanning the offerings at the local book shops.  No joy
there - no surprise.  This is definitely something I'd like to have, and
I'll let you know what, if anything, I find.

Perhaps someone else might have some recommendations???
