I have tried the sio2k on two computers and it worked
on neither. I've heard of others with similar
problems. Since it detects the modem, write down the
I/O address and IRQ assigned to the card (such as
D800, IRQ 9). Now REM all the SIO driver statements in
congig.sys and un-REM the COM.SYS driver. Add the
address and IRQ to the com.sys device statement such
as c:\boot\com.sys (3,D800,9) Where 3 is the com
number you choose, can be 1 through 4, then the card
address and IRQ.

IF this works, but slow, try a com.sys file from an
earlier OS/2 version such as warp4 FP114 or 15.

If not, then maybe find an earlier SIO version to try.
