| subject: | C++Compiler Pros And Con |
JDBP> > Another PRO (for some) may be Watcom's ability to produce 32-bit JDBP> > MS-Windows apps that will run under Win-OS/2. I know of no other JDBP> > compiler that will do this. JDBP>BS> JDBP> As far as I am aware, both Borland C++ 4.0 for DOS and Metaware High JDBP> C++ for DOS will. After further research I see that Metware *do* provide a 32-bit Win16 extender but I haven't had any feedhback as to whether it works under Win-OS/2. I have been unable to find any proof that Borland's offering will create 32-bit Windows apps that run under Win-OS/2. As far as I am aware BC/C++ will only create Win16, Win32s and Win-NT apps. Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong. --- Enigmax v1.04a* Origin: === Enigma BBS, Akld, NZ. +64 9 480-0951 === (3:772/350) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 622/407 623/630 624/50 632/339 348 640/715 820 SEEN-BY: 670/215 690/347 660 700/31 711/409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 SEEN-BY: 712/353 414 623 713/888 770/115 771/1320 772/1 20 140 207 350 380 SEEN-BY: 774/605 800/1 @PATH: 772/350 20 712/353 711/409 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
