Paul, at 01:27 on May 27 1996, you wrote to Bill Grimsley...

BG> File-attached via David's. At least I know you'll get it there. :)

RB> Got it, Thankyou.

BG> See Paul? If David doesn't insist on TIC files, why the fuck do you?

PE> As I told you ages ago, my software (Tobruk) doesn't support it.

So use software which does. Simple really.

PE> Since my system is set up for mail, not files, that is bad luck
PE> for you (ref TMLPOL.TXT).

Just as well I didn't send you the GammaTech Utes after all then. You
probably wouldn't have noticed them. Anyway, why should *I* break the law,
when you flatly refuse to?

PE> Fortunately, I have provided another method for you to send files, and that
PE> is TIC. If you insist in making me do manual work, which you should be
PE> doing yourself, you can imagine for yourself what manual command I will
PE> start doing instead (hint, it starts with D and ends in L). If you are
PE> having problem getting TIC to work, I will be happy to help you. I am NOT
PE> happy to do manual work on the BBS myself.

And I'm not happy doing anything other than entering the filename and path
in the subject line of a msged netmail (YOUR version of msged, BTW), so
from now on, the only uploads you'll be receiving from me will be email.

Regards, Bill
