That's what I thought, I had issues with a little ditty called sexpots to allow
dial up calls on pretty much any BBS. I couldn't get VBox to set up the right
ports, then when I got an external modem, I tried to pass through COM 1 and it
still didn't work, since the program is so small I just installed it on the
host and am using it that way.. This is going to sound crazy, but you might
want to try sex pots and install it on the host then let it contact your BBS
via Telnet.. It works for me, my BBS is on a different computer in a VM and it
gets through every time..
