Hi! I'm not too sure as of yet what I want to upgrade, but I'm going to get
some V-brakes for sure. My bike right now is pretty much all Alvio STX
components. I may go to XT. I bought top of the line Rapid Fire Trigger
shifters for my bike, as they werew only $50 extra. I'm still really new to
biking (I mean serious biking), so I still have some reading up to do on
parts.
Your right, Alberta tends to be very flat. But I mostly do cross-country
off road racing along the North Saskathewan River. There are plenty of good
trails out here, so it isn't that bad. I usually go down to Chiliwack tho'
for some serious biking. There's LOTS of land up here, and it is all quite
accessable.
I've never hunted geese or any other animals for that matter, but I am a
target shooter, and I enjoy skeet shooting. I've taken all the Alberta
government wilderness courses so I am quite familiar with the sport. There
are lots of places for hunting up here, and yes there is plenty of geese, or
anything else you may be looking for.
