Hi David.
I had a very similar problem with a router in Atlanta. Small file
transfers would work OK, but ANY large transfer would choke in the router.
I think that you might have a bad nic driver somewhere, although you did
say that have a new router, and went to a different DSL modem. Are the two
DSL modems the same model? Is it possible both are broken?
Does it happen when transferring large files between machines, or only
coming off the net? Maybe the upstream port is bad somehow?
