Not quite. There are 6 Fidonet zones. The far Russian ends are called
'zone7' ¨but only due to newsgroup translations of echo areas that seldom
work outside ¨their zone.
Technically Zone7-9999 are 'othernets' of which Rime is probably the most
¨famous with Familynet right up next to it.
