Double talk?  Since when does the use of a perfectly appropriate word of
long standing in the English language constitute double talk?  You
obviously found it in your dictionary; I assume, all by yourself.
I knew it was bad, but hadn't realized public education had gotten *so*
bad in this country that proper use of the English language in a
succinct statement could be mistaken by *anyone* for double talk.
