I know what you mean about roses. I used to have a nice bed of
about 10 roses but got tired of the constant battle with black
spot etc.  Do the miniature roses have less problems? I have
thought about trying one in a container to see. I do love roses.
Well another reason I had to give up the rose bed it that it used
to be in a very sunny area, then my orange tree grew and shaded
it, which didn't help the diseases either.
