Well no matter, it didn't work anyway - W2k kept crashing. Must be some
hardware that's funky, because I hadn't even installed any drivers so
couldn't be the wrong ones. Anyway, I installed XP again after that, and
now it seems to work. Now it gave me 30 days to register, web access
straight from box (typing this from the new computer) and everything.

...and even on this system the UI for Teletubbies is sluggish! What a pig -
this is a 3Ghz (HT) system with a Radeon X800 display adapter and a gig of
RAM, and still it has that slowish feeling. Blech!
